Turquoise card

The work and residence frame of the turquoise card for qualified foreign nationals.

The turquoise card is a separate status for foreign nationals who meet published criteria of qualification, investment or scientific contribution. It defines a work and residence frame distinct from a standard work permit, and it has consequences for family members.

The application is built on the candidate’s record and the contribution they will show in Turkey. Not every company shareholder fits the card. Fitness is understood from the published criteria and the Ministry’s assessment.

    Briefing

    Nationality, ownership, activity and whether anyone will work in Turkey are clarified.

  2. 02

    Document list

    Apostille, consular legalisation, sworn translation and a potential tax number are listed.

  3. 03

    Formation file

    Articles, signature circular, MERSIS and trade-registry papers are prepared.

  4. 04

    After registration

    Tax office, chamber, bank and, where needed, the work permit follow the same calendar.
