Documents requested for a company with a foreign shareholder

Passport, apostille, certificate of incumbency, power of attorney and translations are collected on one list.

Documents requested for a company with a foreign shareholder

For an individual shareholder, a passport copy and a potential tax number come first. For a corporate shareholder, a certificate of incumbency and a registry extract from the chamber or court of the home country are requested. They are apostilled or legalised by a Turkish consulate and enter the registry with a sworn translation.

If the person running the formation is not in Turkey, a notarised power of attorney is in the same chain. The list closes against the registry’s current request.
