The difference between a work permit and an exemption
An exemption does not cover every foreign national. A permit is tied to the employer and the workplace.
A work permit authorises a foreign national to work for a specific employer. An exemption is for people listed separately in the law and does not apply to every company shareholder.
Application screens and forms for people under temporary protection can change, so the current path is chosen from the person’s status. An investor file does not assume that “an exemption is enough”.
